About the club
The Abuja Public Speaking Club is a forum where career and business executives learn public speaking and presentation skills by actually speaking in front of other people and getting feedback.
The club provides a conducive atmosphere for members to practice and rehearse their presentations in front of a live audience with the goal of getting feedback.
What the club is not?
- The club is not a public speaking seminar or workshop. It's just what it is, a place to speak in front of people weekly.
- The club is not an open gathering. Meaning, it's not open to anyone or everyone. It's a members-only forum and members pay a subscription fee to participate.
Benefits of the club?
- Opportunity to learn public speaking by actually speaking. We create the platform. We bring the people. You take the stage.
- Continued practicing. If you have recently had a course on public speaking, it's time to get better by continually practicing in front of other people.
- Group support. The Abuja Public Speaking Club is a small community of 30 individuals dedicated to refining their voice every month. Each member supports each other.
- Feedback and review. Members are allowed to take turns to speak while others listen and make suggestions on how or where to improve.
- Networking opportunities. Members get to meet with new people, expand their network or start a new profitable relationship.
- Marketing opportunity. Members could talk about their jobs or businesses and even talk about them in their presentations.
- Learn new things. As you join the Abuja Public Speaking Club, you'll watch other members speak on different topics that may educate or inspire you.
Who can join the club?
- Anyone who wishes to continue making public presentations as a way to continue getting better at public speaking.
- Someone who's looking to watch others present, ask questions and find answers on better ways to master public speaking.
- Anyone who's interested in becoming a public speaker, public figure, leader, pastor, teacher, coach, influencer, activist, salesperson etc.
- You must be 18 years and above

The Abuja Public Speaking Club is organized by Nigeria’s leading public speaking training school, Fordax Academy Abuja.
Every First and Last Tuesday from 5:00 – 7:00PM
At The Fordax Office in Utako – 2nd Floor, Peace Mass Plaza (B), Opposite Rogel Brooks Hotel & Suites, Utako Jabi District, FCT Abuja.
No, the club is not a workshop or seminar. It’s a public speaking club where members take turns to speak and get feedback in order to refine their presentation skills. There are public speaking coaches around for assistance.
